An NGO deeply committed to fostering a circular economy and addressing overproduction in the fashion industry. Sock by Sock has been created by Forebel, a producer of sustainable footwear from the Netherlands. For 30 years Forebel has been focused on making the world of legwear more sustainable by implementing innovative techniques and using alternative resources. Sock by Sock was launched in 2024 to share three decades of sustainability business experience and industry knowledge with the world.

OUR MISSION
Sock by Sock is dedicated to raise awareness about, and offer solutions for, the harmful consequences of overproduction in the textile industry. By educating, challenging, revolutionizing and sharing our knowledge we aim to make the footwear industry a more sustainable market and inspire other companies and people to think about sustainable business models. Sock by Sock is convinced that the concept of sustainability only works if it is commercially viable.
